Black Bear acquired Revolution Ice Gardens in 2019 and implemented a capital improvement plan to address ice quality and safety issues. The chiller system was replaced with a Carrier package with sufficient tonnage to keep quality ice year-round and the underfloor piping was replaced to address gaps between the boards and soft spots in the ice. In addition, lobby bathrooms were renovated, new rubber flooring was installed and the parking lot was resurfaced. ​
